Help needed with bedroom slide

Hello fellow Newmarians, I need help, arrived at the campground three of slides opened with no issue, bedroom driver side slide makes a sound likes it’s going to open but it does not ( the sound stops) does the same when I tried to bring it back, but’s it’s nothing to bring it back from. Any suggestion it will greatly appreciated

Lift up the bed. Under the bed is a false floor. On the right is the motor. See if the motor is working and not loose.
Also, look below in the posts for a post from 007 titled Looking for some help. Lots of slide info there.

Bad motor, bad electrical connection or more likely a stripped gear. Of course its always possible the motor has come loose and simply no longer making connection. Unless you take things apart and have a look there is no way knowing.

I had an issue recently where the kitchen slide would not move. I could hear things click here and there but no movement. Found the controller and unplugged it and plugged it back in. All worked.

And ... call Newmar Support.

You will find all slide info in this link..
As said need to access motor and check bolts for looseness, broken torque bushings, stop rods, motor mounting.
If you can release torque bushings you with help can push slide closed or open until you find whats wrong.

Right now the slide is closed which is a good thing, when I get back from the trip and park it for a bit I’m going to get in a little deeper, right now it feels the slide is either running out of power or somewhere is binding and the motor just stops, it’s no grinding noises, just the initial motor kicking in for just a second or so. Thanks for the replies

This is a new one for me...would you post pictures of this control box? I am sure this will happen to me at some point.

Thanks for posting the resolution.

So you unplugged this little cover and plugged back in, it goes to L1 then you open and close the slides it goes to L2, at least that is the goal

Help needed with bedroom slide

That jumper enables learning mode on the C Storm controller- something I’ve had to do a few times on my living room slide..
