Help Please With Multiple Issues
My Jack's won't extend, my full wall slide won't work and I can't even open the gen slide. Pump is making noise but nothing happens. I crawled under and fluid level is good. I have a 19 LA. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Called Newmar yesterday but no callback.

You say the pump is making a noise, is it the usual pump running noise or just the relays clicking?
I had the same symptoms on my Essex, relative to none of the hydraulics working, but the only noise was the relays clicking. Turned out to be some bad power connections to the hydraulic unit. Yes, and the problem is you cannot open the generator slide to access them. https://www.irv2.com/forums/f103/hyd...es-532214.html

It's making the wining noise and will move slide about 2 inches. Was able to keep trying and get slide back in.

I guess Newmar Customer Service is through with you once your warranty runs out

Sounds like you might be low on hydraulic fluid, or it is sucking air into the system some where.

If you were able to move the slide 2" at a time that would have taken a long time, maybe the pump thermally tripped. That takes a long time to reset itself, 30+ minutes. There are also interlocks between some of the hydraulic circuits, making others inoperative until the "active" circuit is either deployed or stowed.
Not sure what system the LA has, but I found the HWH manual is pretty good for troubleshooting, you can download the specific one for your model. if you need someone to help you an alternative is contacting AZPETE on this forum. He works for HWH and can answer your questions. His email is pfmaddox@att.net, phone number is 602-549-3638.

You have two relays on each side of the HWH motor. Are you able to check your connections on them.

Turned out to be a bad shuttle valve. Pretty disappointed in Newmar Customer Service, still no callback to this day.

Had a similar problem on our 17 LA. Ours turned out to be the MIOM board on top of hydraulic pump. To get generator slide open just remove nut at the end of cylinder mounted on generator frame and pull out manually.

When we bought our 2019 Canyon Star there was a sticker on the driver side window with a picture and phone number for the Newmar Customer Service guy assigned to the Canyon Star line. He usually answers the phone personally when I call the number. He's even returned calls on weekends when I leave a message.
I don't know why you would be having so much trouble reaching them but it sure sounds odd.

While in warranty Rick, who is the London Aire person answered or called back within a few minutes. My guess is your on your own after the warranty runs out.

No they can get busy like others. Always consider the manufacturer as well, e.g. Spartan, HWH etc.. they often are fast and more expert.

That's not true. I've had my coach for nearly 3 years and get the same service I did the first month. It's more likely the OP is calling the general customer service number. A lot of personnel at Newmar are still in Covid mode and working from home so the general number may not get personal service. Just a guess.
