Help Please! Jacks & Full Wall Slide not Working

Weve been parked for 2 months and today I went to retract the jacks and bring in my full slide. Nothing happens.

Sounds like an in-line fuse may have blown. I had the same thing happen a while back. Crawled under the slide and found a fuse by the slide that was blown.

Did you happen to, for some reason, put your chassis disconnect in the off position? That could explain why two devices did not work?

Once my FWS did not want to come in... no pump noise, nothing. Newmar tech support had me look at the ends of the hydraulic cylinders in the cargo area. There is a little black plastic lever, and it needs to be pointing straight out, in line with the cylinder. One of mine was slightly sideways (I think I bumped it when stowing a folding chair). When the lever was straightened, all worked normally.
Im not sure if that would explain your jacks, but its worth a look!

When you pull out the generator bay, you can access the HWH pump on the passenger side. There is a jumble of wires on the unit and a big fuse holder and fuse. Make sure that fuse is good. There was just a discussion on here about making sure the fuse cap is on tight or it can corrode nd blow the fuse.

There are so many wires and fuses. I don’t know what I’m looking for. Can you walk me through this over the phone?

Nice.

If you see any / all fuses near the hydraulic pump, check it. If it's an inline fuse look if the middle has the conductor in place or if it is burned away. Replace it with the same value / amperage if any are found bad. If it blows again, then there is a short or motor seized / stalled so don't put another fuse in until the root cause is found.

Had the same problem with my new coach. It was actually a ground wire that was not tight. In fact all of the bolts that held wire connections to my hydraulic pump were loose. It almost seems like the workers in manufacturing put the pump together and then went on break. Then when they came back they forgot to tork the bolts. Tightened them all down. No problems in nearly a year.

OK, Like the previous post, check for loose mounting bolts under the pump mounting plate. They use the mounting bolts as the ground for the pump. The other thing to check is the 40 amp inline fuse bundled up with the wires around the top of the pump. I have seen both issues and both will stop you in your tracks.
