Help Please w/ Canyon Star 3911 front shade..

During a trip my Canyon Star the front shade (black) quit working. It is electric and it went up fine but would not come down when we reached our destination. What I need help with is 1. Is this on a separate fuse?, 2. How can Test the switch?, Or would you check somewhere else. Also what fuse block is it located on?

Thanks for any help.

A Newmar dealer tech told me my front shade needed to be reprogrammed. I called Newmar, they sent me something to do the reprogramming. It's still in it's package and I haven't used it. (Think it connects to the wires hanging in the upper left corner of my window.)

Anyway, my shade didn't work for a long time. Mostly it would lower half way, then stop. I'd hold the switch down and it would move an inch then stop. It finally worked itself through and is working. Call Newmar.

I have a 2015 Bay Star so may be same shade. Mine would not retract one morning. Called Newmar and went through a checklist they had using a button on a wire in upper left hand corner of windshield. Suggest you try talking to Newmar first. In my case, the shade had to be replaced.
