If you run your GEN with no shore power, what happens, is every thing normal?
Also is there a Surge Protector in shore power line ckt?

"007" Thanks for the help!! Just came back in and after checking all I could think of went back to Surge Protector and Read out was saying 'Delay Active' which is normal as switch was in Power Delay On postion But when Transfer switch kicked over the readout remaned 'Delay Active' So I moved switch to 'No Delay" position and all is working, After about 5 min I put switch back to Power on Delay position and all power remained On,

So do I have a problem with Surge Protector ??? Or??? Transfer Switch???

Now that it has been working for about 30 min I am reading 120 V on Surge Guard display and Bulk Charge on RC7 display.

Rick

If your reading voltage 110 or 12v sounds like your TS is working ok, if you were not reading any voltages than you would have a problem with your TS. I new of delay thats why I asked.

007 You are right!!! After checking and re-checking I 'Think' The issue is with the Surge Protector in that it is stuck in the 'Delay Active' mode!!! Yes/No???

Not sure which surge you have, if you can not over ride the delay you may have a problem.
Your info for SP should give you info in trouble section if theres a problem with it.

SP = surge protector

Gut feel says you do not have enough power coming to the coach. The surge protector is doing its' job by cutting the power.

I think Gary has that right or something wrong with supply from source.
Use a meter and see what kind of power you have at power outlet.

I understand with whawt you are saying about the possibility of 'Low Power'
But I did not by pass the monitoring to get it to work I switched from 'Power on Delay' to 'No Delay'
The Transfer switch then stayed in, and the Readout said 120V
I think if there was Low Power the Transfer Switch would not initially kick in??? Yes/No??

Thanks Rick

Rick, your TS would kick in no matter what, its your SP thats deciding to cut off power to your TS because of low power. If you were to start your GEN during this condition the TS would than transfer power from shore line to your load center.

007 With the 'Delay off' The SP would still monitor any problems with the power ie Low, High, No Ground Etc. Yes/No????

I have sent an e-mail to TRC and also have called. Waiting to hear back.

Thanks Rick

Yes the SP will monitor any problems coming off your shore power line. If you have it installed as mine it would monitor all problems feeding to load center from any source GEN or shore power.
I have the hard wired SP and the following link has operating and trouble section for it.

Surge Guard

I notice there is no key to turn SP on or off as mine has and yours I would guess.
