Arrow Help w/double sliding doors

Well I stumped the Newmar parts department today, so I thought I'd ask you guys. I've got an 08 MADP 4529; between the bedroom and bath there is a double sliding door (similar to a pocket door, but open on the bedroom side). The door rolls back and forth, so no issue there, the problem is I think the former owner took everything off the floor, so the doors sway back and forth. I even had them sway so much one time they came off the top rollers. Anyway, can someone out there that has a double sliding door set up take some pictures of how the doors are connected to the track on the floor. Newmar parts had no idea, in fact there sheets only showed a breakdown of the top not the bottom.

I know my fellow Newmar owners will come through!

Thanks,

Hi Harleychief,

My 2012 gas two pocket doors and neither pocket door has hardware on the bottom. Inside the pocket there is a wood block to keep the door from swinging for and aft. When the doors are closed, the pocket frame keeps the door from swinging for and aft.

Thanks,
Our 2005 KSDP has a single door like you describe. It is not a pocket door and is open on the rear side. There is some hardware at the bottom that retains the bottom. I am not near the MH until next week if you have not received good answer I can check on it then.

These are not the best pictures but maybe they will be helpful. There are two brackets on the doors one of the brackets attaches to the wall and the second one two the door..

Terry/007 - Those are the parts that Derek in Newmar parts suggested. When I explained my set up to him he was at a loss on where they can be mounted. I told him that I'd send him pictures so he could see what I'm talking about. He said that he'd go to production and before it's all over they'd work up a solution. Gotta love that can do attitude! I'll keep you info'ed on how this progress', there may be others out there that could benefit.

Sorry can't figure out how to add tags to each picture so here they are:
Pic 1 - From bedroom with door closed
Pic 2 - Bottom of door showing hight above carpet in bedroom
Pic 3 - Gap between closed door and wall taken from bathroom side
Pic 4 - In bedroom with door closed showing block that holds the bolt to keep the doors open.

I almost had it solved until you mention in forth picture about a bolt in block to hold the door opened???
These are sliding doors and need to be controlled from swaying which the plastic brackets should do with the doors closed I would say a bracket needs to be on that block and one on the opposite door near that wall.
Another question do both doors go into the same pocket or just one door?

There should be a spring loaded bolt you can use your foot to latch and unlatch. The bolt goes into the hole on the floor. Call fleet wood and you can get one from them. My coach has two.

007 - As Newmar describes it there is a lead and a follow door. The doors overlap and when you close the door the lead door has a metal piece on the bottom that grabs the follow door and pulls it across. When you open the doors it works the opposite way and the lead door pushes the follow door back into position. When the doors are closed the built in cabinets (that are behind the shower, but on the bedroom side) keep both doors from swaying too much. With the doors open there is nothing in front or behind the door so they sway.
The doors don't go into a "pocket" they overlap and cover the built in cabinet that is behind the shower, so I have full access to the doors even in the open position.
Hope I didn't make it more confusing

007 - yep that's it. The first pic shows the door closed but yo can see the overlap; the second is with the doors open.

harleychief, Not sure if you found a solution to your doors, but if it helps, I took a picture of my Ventana as reference.

It's a 2 piece U shaped slide where the left side is secured to the wall and guides the inside door, and the right side is secured (from the bottom up) to the out side door.
