Steering wheel volume and phone controls quit working.

Removed radio and found the connector all frayed between the wire from steering wheel and wires from radio.

Cut the connector and discovered a single wire (brown) coming from dash but two wires (white and red) coming from radio encased in stranded wire. The problem is I can’t tell which one, or both are supposed to connect with the wire going to the wheel.

Tried all combinations without success.

Anyone know how it is supposed to be so I can focus on getting the connections right?

Second issue-

I keep getting the check antenna message while on SXM with corresponding drop off. The antenna connection is tight.

Where is the antenna? Doesn’t appear to be on the roof.

Any other ideas?

Antenna is in the dash if it's not on the roof. Could be behind the instrument cluster. I don't have another ventana to look at. Can post a picture of that label and better picture of all the wires?

Here is the message. Radio is back together so I have no other pic of the wires.

Traced antenna wire as far as I could went into the abyss of dash wires. Read in another post some antennas are underneath the front cap.
