Help with the Macerator

We have a 2020 Ventana and the rear flush pad at the macerator toilet is not operating. Neither the water fill button or the flush button operates the toilet. The green power light is on. Is there a method that the toilets can be flushed without using the flush pad? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

Check your circuit box and look for a switch half on and half off. Turn it all the way off and back on. Next look for a GFI as this will be an outlet bath or kitchen with BUTTONS in the center and sometimes a red and green light (newer) bush off and the ON on the left side center of the outlet. Now go back outside. NOW BEFORE you do anything paper can become an issue as the cutter is only about an inch long and 1/2 wide. Now while outside with macerator hold fully rolled out and in the septic tank do only short on and off the power. as the CUTTER is very small and can get held up by some debris. Let us know if this works for you. Hopefully, you don't have something it want cut through.

Help with Macerator Toilet

The toilet is a Dometic 8500 (?) toilet with a flush pad that has the "wave your hand" feature. Currently we are hooked to campground water supply. The green power light is on as well as the white around the pad.

It may be in touch mode. Have you tried touching the fill or flush to see if it responds? I had mine in wave mode but accidently changed it touch mode a few times.

If you have a second toilet you could swap out the module. I had same issue picking up my 2020 DS and we confirmed flush module was bad. Ordered a new one and all was good. They are plug and play

Help with Macerator Toilet

Good to know the flush pad will be plug and play. I will give that a try tomorrow.

Agilitydog. Try unplugging flush pad and plugging back in . And or do a 12 volt shut down for 30 seconds. Hope this helps

Agilitydog, This just dawned on me this is a new coach, have you removed the plastic that covers the switch. I had that same problem.

Plastic covering removed. I decided to wait until we get home on Tuesday before messing with 1/2 bath toilet, using those parts for full bath. I want at least 1 toilet working correctly. Especially with campground restrictions, bathrooms closed, my wife would like 1 bathroom operational. I find it interesting that there isn't an override to the toilets in the event its is not working properly. Thanks for all the help.

Macerator toilet not flushing

We are having a similar problem with one of our Dometic 8700 macerator toilets. The water fill does not work at all, and the flush is either delayed by up to 10 seconds after pushing the flush button, and sometimes no water or not enough water comes in during flushing. We have the same results whether on water pump or city water. Newmar gave me the number for Dometic Sanitation (800-321-9886. ask for Heidi) and they said it is probably one of two parts. They suggested moving both parts independently from the toilet that is working to the one that is not and determining which part is causing the problem. As of last week, Newmar had both parts in stock. The Control Board Module (part #021726) is $282 and the water valve (part #021845) is $141. The water valve is attached to each toilet and the control board modules are located behind the pegboard for the 1/2 bath and in the floor of the closet (same location as the Oasis furnace vent) next to the toilet in the rear bath.

We are going to be at NIRVC in the Atlanta area next week, and they are going to fix it for us (covered under our extended service contract).

Macerator Toilet

Our problem was fixed by replacing the Water Valve Assembly. The Control Board Module was OK.
