Hinge loose rear battery bay door Dutch Star

The hinge at the rear battery bay door has come loose from the chassis. No matter where I look I can't find how to re-attach it. Seems the last trip something happened to pull it loose. Its a 2005 DP Dutch Star and I will certainly appreciate any ideas or knowledge anyone has on this issue.

Hi there, and welcome! There are a lot of DS owners here and one will be along shortly. I've got an older Mountainaire. If they're slow, I'll eventually tell you how my hatch hinge works, but it might not be the same as yours.

No answer yet? I'll tell you how mine works. The top of my door has a curled edge. That curl fits into the very edge of the body piece that overhangs the hatch. To put it in you slide it from the rear end. if you have ever done a skylight that opens, you know the kind of hinge this is. But yours might not be the same.
