Hot Water Rinse

Here are some pics of my rinse system, listed as a "King Aire Option" on my spec. sheet. Consists of half inch Pex running from the water system drain line behind the Oasis up to the generator area. you can see it's encased in armorflex where it's outside the enclosed basement area to protect against freezing. It is routed just inside the DS frame rail. operating pressure isn't great...am able to squirt just up to the top of windshield with rather poor volume...seems to be wanting a bit more pressure. That's why I want to add a small pressure washer up there.

The warmer water does seem to clean those love bugs better. When I was in the carwash business I did a lot of testing. Couldn't remove the dirt with cold water, no matter how much soap I'd use.

I replaced the outside shower with hose spigots.

Pretty cool having the spout up in the front.

Yeah, it's pretty handy to have it right there. but it's also a pain to have to go inside the coach, turn on the key and go back out to activate the hydraulic slide to access the generator/spigot area. then having to repeat the process again when closing. So the next project is to take the switch off the ignition feed.

I forgot you have the electric slide.

I would think it would be simple to change to keyless.

I'm going to try the hot water rinse sometime.

Yeah, I'm not sure having the HW spigot up front is THAT big of an advantage, but mine came that way. I would think one could modify that stupid shower in the wet bay as some have done and get the same effect. But then you'd have to carry that much more hose to get up to the front windshield area. Offsetting that inconvenience is having to go in and turn on the key before getting to the hose at the generator....but I can modify that.

So many mods to do...so little time....
