Looking for a good dealer who wants a sale at a reasonable discount for a Bay Star 3401 most specials approved and was wondering how far out is the factory pick-up after ordering?

I wouldn't eliminate any, send your build sheet to as many as you can and get their offers. You never know.

Tough time to buys for sure, but if you don't ask the answer is always no.

Build sheet is done and the specials have been approved (although I do have a few more someone suggested). I am ready to put my order in just waiting for one thing which should happen sometime in early August.

I do plan on submitting to several "dealers" although I will not be servicing the coach anywhere other than at the factory

We have a saying in my field of practice "pigs get fed hogs get slaughtered". I do not "have" to get a coach but I would "like" to get one. I am sure there must be a few pigs out there...lol.

With the exception of NIRVC, I doubt many dealers will even care where you get you rig service. Most would prefer to never see you again, till you are ready to buy another.

Never had a RV just boats but many of the systems are somewhat similar. Was planning last year to get the 2021 but you what caused some drama and the house on the video just sold in May of this year so it will now be the 2022 model Bay Star 3401.

Actually there are some issues with the 2020 F-53 chassis which have apparently carried over to the 2021 Chassis too except for the recall regarding the low fluid in the rear end

How were you able to get specials approved before choosing a dealer? The dealer has to send in all specials , Newmar prepares and returns for you to sign off on and gives you a price.

Went to the factory.

Just found out the answer to my question originally posted here and its ugly.

One guy just ordered his coach last Friday and was told mid December to January 2022 for delivery. And that was presuming there were any any further "supply chain" issues which most of us know are going to happen starting around when the kids go back to school.

Disappointed to say the least, I was already making plans to winter camp up in Vermont thinking a factory pick up would be by Thanksgiving ,..and who even knows what things are going to happen between now and then. Too unstable to plan anything these days. It know it is a blessing to me but I am not quite sure how...have to get back to you on that

Try to find a dealer that has a unit on order but not sold. Take over that unit and work to get your specials included.

We picked up a dealer stocking unit for our Cornerstone. We took it over in Aug, build was in Nov/ Dec. We were able to make the changes we wanted.

All Newmars are allocated to dealers. The dealers know what they have in the supply chain and the assigned build dates.

All is not lost, just a bit more difficult than originally envisaged. Price leverage will be unfavorable, but you can see what is possible.

There are a lot of Bay Star’s
on order from dealers that are not sold. Just contact a large volume dealer. They will have slots throughout the year for you to pick from.
