Good news. US Solar Pumps can now provide a high temperature head with 1/2" barb connections. This is not in their catalog so you need to order the C1A/H 12V 20L pump and then write in the comments that you want the pump with a high temperature head that has 1/2" barb inlet/oulet connections. I have placed my order so will let you know if there are any issues.

Pretty cool I never tried to call them, I just got mine today, swapped the head and I now have a spare.

Ted.

Good Research

I would also like the link/ordering information. I currently have an Oasis spare, but there are 3 pumps and it is just a matter of time. Have already replaced two of the originals.

Don't forget you have to ask for the high temp head with 1/2" barb inlet/outlet.

I have a 2014 MA 4369. Shouldn’t this be the same pump that I need for my Oasis? Does anyone know what the change was between the older and the newer pump model?

So you expect to work bettered the same? If no better just cheaper to repair? What is the cost for the 1/2 and high temp?

OK, here are a couple of things to consider. First off get to your pump and make sure it has a replaceable head. I just did mine on my 2018 DS and the head was not replaceable, no screws solid body. Secondly see if the wattage is the same, as that was the original problem back in 2015. And thirdly, if you have a bay full of stuff it is a major PIA to empty the bay and exchange the pump so why take a chance on a different pump to save a few bucks.

The old pump had a clamp that held it in place. The current ITR pump does not have the clamp and hangs on the hoses. I replaced 2 of the old style pumps with the new style and they are secure as they are not that heavy. The US Solar pump is identical to the new ITR style and you do not need to swap heads if you order the 1/2" barb connections. Follow the link in #18 to see the price.

First, thank you John for your link to USolarPumps.com.

I spoke directly to Mike Kehoe at US Solar Pumps and he is going to update his website to list the exact replacement pump needed to make it easier to order for us with the Oasis System. His pump C1-A/H 12 volt Circulating Pump is what's needed with the 1/2" barb for both input and output. The pump is rated to temperatures as high as 212 degrees and will deliver up to 20 L just like the Oasis pump at $295.

His pump with the 1/2" barb with the high temp heat is $81.85 with $14.33 shipping to my Zip code, total price $96.18. Of course I ordered one today and should get it in three days!

Thanks also to Mike for answering ALL my questions

I have one in my hands now for when we pick up our 2016 LA on the 8th.

Hate to not have hot water in a new to us rig a day out from the dealer. I am sure it's just a matter of time until the OE one fails.

It would be a good idea to keep some 1/2" ID hose with you as well. Most auto parts stores seem to be short on that ID.

So the C1-A/H when ordering already has the 1/2 barb? So no need to specify?

At this time still specify for the 1/2" barb inlet and outlet. Mike has NOT changed the website yet.

The C1-A/H is the high tempurature pump that you'll want.
