How to change Security Light bulb on a DS4369 ?

We have a 2015 DS 4369 we recently bought with 9,600 miles on it. Can someone tell me how to change the driver side security light bulb located on the full slide? I’ve checked the fuse for the security lights, they seem fine. I haven’t got up on the ladder yet to examine the lens cover but I do not see any fasteners or screws to remove the lens. Also, the bulb type would be helpful.

Thanks all !

Bob

You will simply "squeeze" the top and bottom of the plastic cover to release the tension and it will pull straight off. You might take this time to replace with a LED.

I agree, as cheap as led's now, replacing security lights with them is a no-brainer...I had spare interior 600 lumen map lights so replace my burnt bulb. It makes for a good night light for now, should receive a 1700 lumen replacement today to compare the brightness...

I placed two of these LED's in mine on each side. They come with the base that fits the socket. I then cut and spliced the wires so two of these lights fit in the one socket. I used two sided tape on the back of them to hold them in place. I angled one down and one straight out. Gives great light.
