How to fasten desk to old couch floor Ventana 4037

In our 2014 Ventana 4037, we have removed the sleeper couch behind the passenger (nagavator) seat where we're installing custom built file cabinets and a desk.

Under the couch was a 5"-high wood platform covered with a carpet.

I plan to bolt or screw the file cabinets to the platform, leaving the carpet in place.

What is under that platform? Anything that might be damaged by screws or a bolt?

How would you secure the cabinets to the platform?

tia

The platform is wood under carpet, I would just screw file to floor over carpet, wiring is in wall and running in the arch of roof and upper sidewall.
Wall metal studs are 16" on center if you want to go there but floor is better way to go.

When I built these cabinets I screwed them into wall studding.

@"007". Thanks. I'm planning to screw the cabinets to the floor as long as that won't cause some kind of problems. Our desk will be in front of the televator. We have a similar one from Brad & Hall where the dinette used to be on the driver's side. B&H didn't want the job so I'm having the cabinets and desk built locally for about $2k.
