How to get touchup paint for Coach Exterior

Is touchup paint an option or do most RV'ers just turn Coach over to a professional body shop.

I've looked, but have not found the go to web site to buy touchup paint if one exist.

Help appreciated.

If you have your paint codes, there are a number of touch up paint sources on the internet. Google automotive touch up paint.

Or you can take those same codes to an auto paint supply house like Finishmasters and get some mixed.

My coach was painted with Sikkens and CC used some Ford/Mazda colors and some Infinity colors. Using the paint codes, I got the Ford/Mazda harvest gold at my local Advance Auto Parts....Duplicolor makes it. I ordered the Infinity color off the internet:

IMO, unless you are just touching up very small spots or have paint/body shop experience, I would use a professional shop for larger 'wounds' in my paint.

Thank you, site would not recognize Newmar. Hopeful of finding a site that has proven success with Newmar.

Do you have your paint codes? There should be some info with your coach that include those. If not, suggest you call Newmar.

In our coach, the paint codes are on a sticker on the inside of one of the kitchen cabinet. BASF color codes, as I recall. With those, you should be able to get touchup paint anywhere. Shops won't have Newmar color info.

Internet Vendor you suggested is working the paint codes, more to follow.

Not sure if you got exactly what you needed? It looks like the paint scheme on your DS is the Praline. If so, these are the codes Newmar has on their site.

Just got an email from the vendor; can do two but not four. Just my luck the two I really need is the ones they can not fabricate.

We got some touch up paint at Precision Paint while we were getting interior work done. They did not all match very well.

Hmm..Is RV paint a different animal than automotive? I know paint for fiberglass is different but all paint colors fade from UV exposure. With computer technology for scanning your paint colors, would that not be the best way to go to get an exact match??

Terry,

SWag has the answer for you. If you have the RV build number, go to Comnet, insert your build number and search in the exterior decor. That will identify not only the paint codes, but the actual BASF formulas for all 4 colors.

I have had good service from Paint World/ You do need your paint codes, but they mixed up one ounce bottles with a brush in each for $14.95. Seemed to be able to do all codes...
