I am sorry---my DW says that I am "obtuse". I think that means "dumb", but I can't find the "file" section to get the stordoor.pdf

Would someone please be kind enough to draw me a map? Or give me a link?

Thanks. I am not naturally dumb, I work at it.

The previous owner of our coach had a Dometic freezer installed under the front passenger side compartment. I went out to get something from the freezer last night and when I attempted to close the door, the fiberglass separated from the hinge along the right half of the door and it won't close properly now. Anyone else experience this? Can I just remove the door and re-adhere the hinge to the body of the door? Haven't had a chance to look at it too closely today since I'm currently working.

We had some hail damage dents on our 18 LA and had a dent person come out and said because of the way the doors are built they had to be replaced and couldn't be repaired. They doors have styrofoam glued to both sides of door and then outside skin. Newmar said they would replace the doors too since the way they made. Newmar price with paint and labor of 1,000 dollars per door. After looking at the doors I decided that if I used a 1 1/2 hole saw I could get to the outer skin and remove the hail dent with a wooden 1 inch dowel. Worked great on the 4 doors and then went to ACE hardware and bought some 1 1/2 inch. metal plugs and painted them white and turned out great. Were there is a will and challenge it can be done.

How to remove a basement door for repair?

He has a 2008 Tiffin NOW, but this is a very old thread. When he started this thread on 1/17/2009, he had a 2002 Mountain Aire. When he got rid of that and bought the 08 Allegro Bus, his info changed. So when you pull up his old post today, you see the new info.

I have lots of old posts on this forum which would lead one to think I drive a Newmar and I’m talking about Monaco.
