How to Remove Laptop Shelf at Passenger Seat?

I am sure this is not what is called, but hopefully someone knows what I am talking about. Someone posted a while back about removing this.

If anyone has removed this could you tell me how to do it?

I removed my shelf about 8 months ago. It was a bit complicated but all you have to do is to look at the swivel points and remove the bolts. Sorry, I don't have a step by step procedure but if you're handy, you can do the project. As opposed to the persons post above, my shelf/brackets are intact and totally removed from the chair. Spend some time looking at the tables legs and you'll see how it comes apart.

Easy to take off. Just a couple of bolts. First thing I did since it is in the way and of very little use.

It is easy to remove, just a couple of bolts at the base of the seat. Can be reinstalled when needed.

Ruebenray may I ask why you want to take it off? We have been looking at new coaches and I have thought that was a nice feature.

Mainly because my wife will be having our Yorkie in her lap while traveling. In not for this it would work great. I wish I could find something similar to it to work with my Flexsteel recliner. The arms are to narrow to use the mouse on.

It took me longer to find the correct allen wrench than it did to take off.
