How to shut off water to toilet
Sorry if this is available elsewhere; haven't been able to find after browsing thru the usual sources.
How do i turn off water supply to dometic macerator toilet in the half bath of a 2018 Dutch star 4018?
I'm reading manual instructions for proper storage when it's not going to be used for several weeks
Thanks

turn off the pump or the city water supply. Whichever you are using. There are no individual valves like in your house.

On my 2014, I needed to disconnect the rear toilet and was surprised to see there was no valve at the toilet. If you need to do some work on one of the toilets and keep your water on, you need to plug the hose line.

In the process of replacing both my toilet and water heater I’ve installed shut offs and modified the plumbing to make it more sensible and accessible.
I am often annoyed at how shoddy and ill-thought out some of the plumbing is on these otherwise fine coaches.

Ok thanks for the replies. That certainly seems like an oversight
The reason i asked (and i can just do it by turning off all water) is that the recommended procedure if you're storing your coach for more than 2 weeks is to pour 4 oz of biodegradable laundry detergent (no bleach) into toilet, flush 5 times, then turn off water and flush 3 times!
Does anyone actually do this? I usually just drain, rinse the black tank, add our little chemical packet and flush a few times to get a couple of gallons fresh water into black tank
Just wondering if i should go the extra mile per dometic

I just have to ask. How would you flush 3 times with the water off?

The travel mode requires you to flush the toilet by pushing both large and small flush buttons at the same time. The toilet will flush but not refill.

Haven't checked to see on our 18 LA but there are water shut off valves in the basement storage area. Don't know which water lines they shut off but they are there. Could contact Newmar or shut some off and see if they are the ones for toilet.

Had a friend install a valve on both their macerater toilets. Thinking of doing the same.
