How to turn off the beep when you lock doors?
I have checked my manuals and the forum but can't find an answer. Need help please.
It is so irritating especially at night. How do I turn it off?

George,
On my previous 06 Essex, I unplugged the horn so it would not sound. Still had the air horn, so for that road that is what I liked to use anyway.
It solved my problem that you also have.

UPDATE:
Talked to Newmar and Spartan... and the consensus was to disconnect the horn. Not!
However, Spartan suggested to pull the horn fuse while at the park. Now, that's what I'm talking about!
I did that and it works like a charm... or not working. Just insert fuse when going back on the road.

You could pull the fuse, install a connector into the fuse box, with an inline fuse holder and run wiring to a toggle switch on the dash then back to the fuse box.
Save crawling around with a loose fuse in hand.

If you have an instrument cluster that provides lots of digital info (avg mpg, temp, head light delay etc) there may be a setting to turn the beep off.
