Howard Miller Clock
I've seen this info here before but today, "Search" only wants to show me Miller Family stuff.
Short of a crowbar, does anyone have a good method of getting the clock off the wall to replace batteries. Clock is mounted with three square drive screws, all hidden under the clock numbers.
Pretty sure the clocks are all the same.
Thanks!

Sorry but you'll have to loosen the square drive screws & remove the clock from the wall. The battery access in on the back of the clock.

Yeah, I know that. The question is... How do I access those square drive screws when they're directly under the Roman numeral clock numbers?

My clock just twists off a sub base. About a 1/16 of a turn.

My clock just hangs on a screw with a small piece of Velcro at the bottom.

I just took mine off to be replaced by a framed photo of my dogs. I used a flat pocket screw driver that fit between the numerals and was just right diagonally in the square drive screw. The bottom screw must be removed, the two upper ones just loosened to lift the clock off.

Maybe we have different clocks. This is mine & I've painted the hands since I could never read it with the hands the same color as the rest of the clock. I have three square drive screws & only one is not blocked. I loosen the one I can get to & the clock lifts off the other two screws.

My clock is different so I can't say specifically. Can you access the screws using a right angle driver? Maybe a short square drive bit and turn it with a small wrench?

I simply pull one of the lower tabs away from the screw and the clock lifts off the upper hanger. No tools. No screw removal or loosening.

Looks like you unscrew the one at 12. Then it should push down and away.

Clock
Replaced the clock with an electronic picture frame with a clock option.
Good luck.

A different link. Same video. Howard Clock removal for Newmar motorhome. This one to YouTube.
Finger is pulling the tab away from the screw. There is a bit of springyness to the clock and only a little bit of flex is needed to get it off one screw. Once off 1 of the 3 screws, it's off the wall.

Does anyone know how to remove Howard Miller clock in order to change battery? My clock it’s about 8 inches round and seems to be solidly affixed to the wall in my camper. It is in a 2012 Forest River.
