Hub Cap

I have a 35' 2000 Dutch Star gas motorhome. I had new tires put on and left for a 4 week trip. When I got to my first gas stop I noticed that the hub cap on the passage side rear duals was missing. I informed the company that put the tires on and told them that they did not put this one on tight enough. We are in discussion over this, but I was wondering if anybody knew where you could get a used one. I can find new one for $259 but was hoping to find one a little cheaper than that. If anybody can help me I would appreciate it very much.

Look at rvchassisparts.com then click on wheel components. You should find what you need for a lot less.

John Are you on a Spartan Chasis? If so call Spartan directly and they will send you the cover you need. I lost my front wheel cap and it was forty something dollars to replace it.

Folks at Spartan gave me a great tip. Pu a couple of dots of clear silicone on the hub cap before you replace it. When it dries it will help secure the cover, and it is fairly easy to take off.

Good Luck!!
