Hoping the best for you in your decision process. The photo in your original post appeared to be from a National Indoor Dealership. If so, their reputation is quite solid as portrayed here on the forum and also via many YouTube owner videos. Therefore, I would expect them to ensure that you're very comfortable with your coach before they turn you loose. Also, I would expect personal access to a technical advisor (their personal cell phone numbers) once you leave. We always had this support from Steinbring Motorcoach with both our Newmars. We rarely used this access but it was there if needed.
Regarding learning curves and systems, our first coach, 2004 Mountain Aire, was a meld of present models Baystar/Canyon Star coach systems on a Dutch Star Chassis (pre Comfort Drive). It was a full day of orientation that left us drained and a bit overwhelmed. I had done much research and learning prior to the purchase but nothing can prepare you except to experience the process. Kind of what people say that the learning is like drinking from a firehose.
Our next coach was a Ventana and the orientation was much easier to absorb because of our previous coach experience. The orientation did not take near as long. This coach had nearly all the present model Dutch Star coach systems without the Chassis.
So, go slow and make sure you understand the coach's operations. If buying at National Indoor, camp there for a week before leaving if they'll let you. If they don't let you, camp for a week in very close proximity to the dealership. Enjoy!
