Huge Pot Hole

We hit a huge pot hole on I65 South of Indy about 80 miles. I lost the "Trim Ring" that goes around the center of the wheel on this Spartan Chassis. Where can I get a replacement?

Makes you wonder what Indiana does with all that fuel tax they collect...among the roughest roads in the country.

We hit one north of Edmonton, AB on Hwy 43 that would bury a Smart Car. Worst section of highway I have driven in years. This, in the richest Province in the country.

The gas tax in our jurisdiction used to be dedicated to road construction and maintenance. Then the politicians decided the tax should go into general revenue.

Obviously the politicians drive government cars. If they drove their own the tax would be dedicated to the roads again.

Don't know many that have any appreciation for roads in Indiana!

What do you mean? Every alignment shop in the state appreciates it.

And tire dealer...and Indiana probably charges a big road tax on them too.

I got my replacement from Spartan. I was told by them that if I put a couple of dots of clear silicone sealer on the rim it would keep it from popping off again. Plus it would not be hard to get off if needed.

I think I found the replacement here:
https://www.rvchassisparts.com:8443/...is/runApp?id=5
They are checking it against my chassis #. Going to use TonyDi's silicone idea for sure!
