HVAC fan speed issues.

This may be another dumb question, but I was hoping to get the real answer before calling Newmar.

HVAC / TANKS / AGS control panel above the drivers seat - not sure the proper term to refer to it.

Question is how are the AC units and specifically the "fan speed button" suppose to work?

Here is what is happening - 3 AC units on this coach. Livingroom/Kitchen/Bedroom.

Tuning them on one at a time in "cool" mode, the Kitchen seems like it is on low fan speed. The Livingroom and Bedroom seems like they are on high fan speed. Changing the fan speed button on the panel makes no difference to any AC unit.

Turning all units to "fan" mode - "fan speed button" makes no difference to any of the units.

Is there a problem here or is this just another feature?

Thanks.

You probably can't notice a fan speed difference. Lo/Medium/High are probably within 10% of each other flow and noise wise. You'd have to go on the roof and listen to the fans change speeds.

The units all share a main central duct on the supply and return sides. They also compete for flow in this setup. The rearward units are likely placed closer to their inlet and outlets making them seem to be higher flow. But if you turn on any single unit, it's going to blow from the entire coach. It's not a great system and it can make for controlling zones with different temperatures kind of pointless, since every unit is technically piped to the entire coach.
