HVH Levelers not Working - Self Induced?

2012 Canyon Star 3920
Went out camping this weekend at a State Park where the site was not very level, front to back. Parked the coach, and hit the Auto Level. Nothing. Travel Mode light was lit. I had the coach in Park with the Parking Brake set. Lamp was on in the dash display.
I was able to get fairly level with wood and plastic blocks, so the weekend was great. I think this was likely self-induced as I just replaced the crappy stock Jenson dash radio with a Kenwood Apple CarPlay unit. Man, that was nice while driving. Anyhow, I had yet to hook up the parking brake line, as I really never intend on watching any videos on the radio screen. The Jenson unit didn't appear to have the parking brake connection according to the user manual, but I am wondering if somehow the harness did.

I am under the impression that since the dash light comes on, the parking brake switch is working. What else does the HVH module use to determine "Travel Mode"?
Any thoughts? What to check to begin diagnosing this?

Thanks!

Did you have your key turned to the left instead of to the right as you would to start?

First ; do you by chance mean HWH Levelers ?

Second; you mention auto level , do you have an idea what series of auto leveling system you have ( if HWH ) 325 , 625 , 725 ?

Good catch. Yep, HWH.
Trying to figure that out. Looks like: AP47634

Control Pad is this:

Travel Mode light is lit, and when I press Auto Level button, the "Not in Park/Brake" LED lights up

If you got the AP#### off a jack that's not the series number .

Maybe this pdf will help .

I'll take the photo you've posted of the control panel and see if I can figure it out.

OK , I'm thinking you have a 625 series , from the control pad.

For most of the testing involved you'll need to locate the control board ( picture below is a 325 series but 625 is similar ) control board is 8"x12"x3" with a plexi glass cover held in by the rubber edge.

In the picture clover has already been removed.

I think you answered your own question, especially if the light that says no parking brake or not in park illuminates. My only question is what did you leave disconnected. I wouldn't think the parking brake wire for the radio would impact the jacks, but maybe it does.

If there was a parking brake wire that you left disconnected, short it to ground and see if your jacks work. If they do, you can do what I did years ago for a Pioneer radio. I added a small toggle under the dash with one side having the radio wire and the other side connected to ground. I used the switch so I could make map changes while moving.

I "think" it is 725 series. From HWH website. Note the 725 4-SA Jacks

Is this under the hood?

I'm fairly sure (will look again in the next day or so) that I had a 1-to-1 wiring match when I put my new radio in. The only thing NOT connected is the parking brake wire, which goes to the switch and allows video viewing. That's why I am questioning it. However, that is the only thing I have done and now the jacks not working is suspicious. I will get out there in a day or so and investigate the parking brake switch before I pull the radio out again.

I can't be sure ; I believe it'll be close to the pump and solenoid manifold .

Did you download a manual for the 725 system while on the HWH site ?
