Why not get the jack rebuilt by HWH? You reach out by email and get a return number, pack it up and ship to them and in a few weeks it'll come back ready for install. They only charge for the parts used and as labor charge. I always communicated with Ashley aburkle@hwhcorp.com.

I did talk to Stuarts and sent them a picture of the jack. No luck.

HWH said they would but are so backed up she could not give me any idea of when they might get to it. I have a local shop attempting to repair it now but would prefer to purchase a new one.

I need to have one rebuilt. I have a couple hydraulic shops local I'm considering.

What are they charging you if I can ask?

I had one off my gasser done about 3 years ago and it was a little over $100.

if you order a new jack, it gets put into production and is shipped about 8 to ten weeks after. thats the same way i get my parts.
i do work full time and more for hwh corp, and volunteer to monitor this site and a couple of others for hwh problems. i leave my phone on 24/7.

if you leave me a message you are stranded, i will call you asap.

i am glad to answer any repair questions you have. i do keep some repair parts, but not many. i do not offer parts for sale on this discussion forum.

Went to HWH 2 years ago for jack problems a 575 mile one way trip. Was surprised by the pot holed gravel parking lot and the very bad over night area. Next morning they got it in and put a new front jack on and some valving in pump. They backed it out about 15 minutes before closing and said all is well except the brake set light would not go off until you turned on system and then off a couple times but should be no prob. We stayed that night again and rear jack sank into ground so bad I had to dig it out next morning and we headed home. All that summer on about 4 camping trips I had a terrible time dropping my jacks in auto mode and had to do it on manual but still had one jack that was dropping and lifting??? Finally I was in a spot for a night in a casino parking lot and wanted only to drop my right jacks to stabilize my rig and found that my jack wiring was switched so my right rear jack was hooked to the left rear jack line so I then knew what all my issues were from. Called them and left a message to tell them. I then took about 1 minute under my rig and switched the wires correctly and all is well since except the brake sensor issue that I have now fixed myself. I got a return call 1 month later but did not even answer it. Why they did not run my jack sequence through after fixing it I will never know as they would have seen it immediately. The old adage is right, " if you own an RV you better be handy or have lots of money"

OK, finally got the jack back and all fixed. The place is called Hydra Power Hydraulics and is in Savage, MN.
952-707-9100

The total came to $207.15. We reinstalled it this morning and all is well.

We also found my chassis batteries were bad and replaced them for $140.00.

HWH is a production facility, not a 5 star compound.
And everybody is having troubles finding good workers that will show up everyday.

Interstate. My mechanic has an account with a local supplier and yes, that's about half price. The truth is these batteries are seconds. The shop takes batteries returned for whatever reason and remanufactures them completely, then resells them with a full warranty. I've been using them for years with good results. The old batteries were five years old.

interstate is one of the best sources for reasonably priced batteries. i use them all the time. walmart has started carrying them. they are also available on the internet.
i dont work for interstate or receive compensation from them. i just know a good product. im sure there are others.

I have to give you credit Pete, we have talked before and I have seen you answer many questions on this site for others. I'm glad to see there are still people out there that believe customer service is important.
