HWH FWS Adjustment?

Iíve been searching the forum for how to adjust the HWH FWS but I cannot seem to find what Iím looking for.

When the FWS is extended, the floor at forward portion is about a 1/4Ē high. The rear of the FWS slide sits level with the main floor.

How is the slide adjusted so that the front portion drops another 1/4Ē when itís fully opened?

Isn't your MH still covered by the OEM warranty? Slide floor adjustment should be a covered item.

On our 18 LA we need to hit the down button twice to make the floor level across the length of the slide.

Nope. We hit the one year mark this past December.

Iíve retracted and extended the slide several times. Itís currently better than the first attempt, but still not sitting flush at the front.

Got it! Now it's time to call the HWH expert, he works for HWH and freely offers his advice and experience to irv2.com members.

You can contact Paul (AZPETE) at pfmaddox@att.net or call him at 602-549-3638. He is an irv2.com Commercial Member and has posted that his phone is always on, and if not answered, leave a message.

Thanks for the recommendation. Iíve sent an email to Paul and Iím waiting for a response. Iíll also contact Newmar on Monday to see if they can provide me with any adjustment instructions.
