HWH jacks down alarm

My 2016 DSDP has a jack down alarm for the right rear jack. All of the jacks are fully retracted.
Any suggestions on where to start the diagnosis?

Are you sure it is fully retracted? That right rear is the slowest on my coach and sometimes will stop before being fully retracted. Try a 2 x 4 lever to push it up and see if it moves at the end of the retract cycle. I often fully extend mine and then clean with WD-40 to help it go up.

Yes definitely fully retracted. I used a floor jack to make sure. Also cleaned all of the jacks with WD40.

Here’s an excerpt from the HWH manual on my iPad. Let me know if this helps as I can probably find the link to the manual on the HWH website.

Thanks for the information flyboy013.
I will do some testing and follow up Hopefully it’s just a switch.
Is the manual available for download on the HWH web site?

I had that happen on our last trip. In doing my PD, I found that the connection on the plug going to the magnetic switch was not getting contact. Cleaned the plug and all was good.

Contact Paul at AZPETE on the Irv2 forum. He works for HWH and can answer your questions. His email is pfmaddox@att.net and his phone number is 602-549-3638. He is a Commercial Member and has posted that his phone is always on, and if not answered, leave a message.

He has helped others on this forum and I am sure he can help you.

The problem ended up being a sensor. Replacing the sensor was a lot more work than I expected!
HWH says to use a 9/16 wrench for removal. What I found was the sensor is recessed into the jack and was packed with a lot of road debris and almost impossible to access without removing the tag axle wheel.
Also I needed to remove the wire connector and use a pass thru socket to finally remove and replace the sensor.

Funny how the jobs you think are no big deal end up being a lot of work. LOL
