HWH leveling jacks

Both front leveling jacks died on me after 17 years. I removed the rear jacks in 2019 and had them rebuilt by HWH.
Wanting to purchase new jacks I was told there were nun available at this time and got on notification list.
My question has anyone taken them to a hydraulic shop and had them rebuilt?
The jacks are AP29965 12,000#.

Thanks
Robert Laird

leveler repair

I have had Power Gear re built at ag repair location and the charge was under 500.00 for both 12,000# internal spring cylinders. You remove and replace on rv
new cylinders were $1,400. each.

good luck.

I would have a good shop repair/rebuild the old ones. The new HWH stuff seems to have many leakage problems with their seals-not just me, but many others I know as well are having all sorts of issues with the stuff HWH is putting out now. I am not happy with HWH and Newmar really needs to lean on HWH to extend out the warranty on their products and cover consequential damages that occur when there devices malfunction.

Absolutely have them rebuilt. There is nothing magical about the rams. Just basic hydraulics. Find a reputable shop and go for it.

I had jacks rebuilt on my former coach by a local shop. No big deal and not too expensive.
