HWH leveling sensor location
I have been looking for the HWH 725 sensor. I got this from Newmar: The sensor should be located on the passenger side up frt of the coach by the miom. This is close to the HWH pump.
I don't know what or where the "miom" is.

Anyone know where this is?
TIA,
John

It's the HWH Step Controller Module, located in the first bay behind the steps (passenger side). Here's a link to a HWH Steps Emergency Ops article which shows its location https://hwhcorp.com/mi16_ope_step_000.html

Hi John - We had an '18 and a '20 DSDP 4369. I remember the adjustment for the leveling in the '20 was on the ceiling of the passenger side bay that is opposite the Oasis. Sorry but I don't remember where it was in the '18 so can't say that the '19 would be where the '20 was. Worth a check however. I had a slide in that bay and if you pulled it out and laid on your back you see it. Sorry about not remembering the '18.
On that version you needed to ground a pin on the adjuster so that it's sensitivity was enhanced.

On my 2019 DS, it's attached to the ceiling, between the frame rails, in the Oasis 3/4 bay. Here is a photo....

I will look again in that bay. I used my phone to video as I slid the tray in and out and saw no sensor. I hope I just missed it. As to the jumper, I did see that when I read through the manual. I know that goes against the International RVers Association rules, but I do read the manuals! LOL

Hi John - DS Don's picture is exactly what you are looking for. (Don is a treasure trove of useful information). Sounds like the 19 and 20 were set up the same. If you look at the ceiling in that bay and work from the back of the Oasis towards the bay door you will find it. Those three springs behind the plate do stand out a bit in terms of spotting it. The box itself is relatively small compared to older systems.
Good luck and you get a star for reading the manuals. So many don't unfortunately.
Tom

the miom is the potted circuitboard mounted on top of the pump. it has a large plug on one end, and red led’s in the potted area. this is the control box for the 725 system.
look at your operators manual. it also has a service manual in the same book.
when adjusting the level sensor, remember that the yellow lights on the sensor are the same as the lights on the touch panel, so its a one man job. just level the coach manually, then leave the key on. go outside to the sensor and adjust it till all the yellow lights are out.
look to see if it has a small white plug on the bottom of the level sensor.
if it does, remove that plug. you will see a small bare wire extending down.
use a jumper wire from that wire to a good ground anywhere you find one.
this puts the sensor in a super sensitive mode, and helps produce a more accurate setting.
just follow the instructions in the service manual. you c ant go wrong. please feel free to call me at 602 549 3638
please leave a message if i dont answer. i dont call back on hangups.
