our jacks would fall during travel, we did have our springs replaced by hwh yrs. ago and they have worked fine since, ours is also a 2004 nsdp

I found the job of replacing the HWH springs fairly easy- doing it my self. They were under a hundred bucks for all four.

I "THEN" learned how to retract them completely- and to stay retracted!

As someone above pointed out after you get going, turn your system back on, and reactive the "Stow" position. Mine, times out in two minutes and turns itself off. That solves the problem of the "gad awful" screeming noise that occurs if one moves slightly- while going down the road.

I had made a thread years ago, with pictures, on how to install these new springs. I cant find it right now.
