I know, I know, it's a dumb question, but, we fulltime in an 08 EXDP, with a 500 Cummins ISM, and upon chk'g hydraulic fluid reservoir after sitting for a week, (ie., "cold") I found dipstick on reservoir did NOT register any fluid, so I got jug of AW 46 Hydraulic Fluid as noted on the reservoir sticker, and plan to add fluid. Looks like the only fill port is the same port as the dipstick. Is this right?? Also, another question. Rig has about 8,800 miles on it and wondered how often others find they must top off hydraulic fluid?? Thanks from the "mechanically inept." Steve

Steve:
Yes, it fills through the dipstick port but you should not be losing any fluid at all unless you can see a leak somewhere.
Maybe it wasn't full when delivered but I would run the coach and warm things up fully then make sure your level and check it again before adding any now.
