In search of
After my order delivery issues that I documented last week, I have been on the search hot and heavy for a rig. I have been focusing on a Ventanna-LE 37'-40'. I have tried several "localish" dealers and a few of the recommended national dealers. Folks, the best discount that I can seem to get on on well appointed on lot or order unit is about 22%. I tried hard on several left over 2018s - we are talking 26-27% after some hard negotiations. This is a cash deal, so that probably hurts me in some aspects.
Any suggestions on dealers or timing? PM me with specifics if you like. Help much appreciated.

I think you'll find that discounts on the base level Ventana LE will be significantly less than on a higher lever (read that "higher list price) coach. You probably won't find 25-30% discounts on the LE. The 22% you already found will probably be about the best you'll do on a 2019 right now.
Personally, I think the leftover 2018s are where the bargains are right now, and 26-27% is pretty much what you'll find out there. And, in some respects, I think the 2018s are, at least, the equal of the 2019s.

Don’t have any idea what the percent off is but give NIRVC a call and give them a chance. They are straight shooters and will tell you what they can do, and they won’t hurt you on a cash deal, they ❤️ cash sales, and all for the price of a phone call.[emoji2] All JMHO

independence RV in FL has some pretty aggressive pricing on leftover 2018 DS's, that they are actually adverting on the website....
very rare, IMHO, to see 30% discounts advertised right on the web....

Give Jon Steinbring a call, see what he has available. He beat all the other dealers by thousands of $$$ on our 2018 MA. Dealers we sent build sheets to looking for bids were, Steinbring, NIRVC, Transwest, Midway, Holland Motorsand Independence RV. He beat all others and Customer Service was outstanding.

We just spent the weekend in Indio, California, with some RVing friends. One of them is ready to downsize from a 40' Monaco Camelot. As we all headed home today, they stopped at a dealer in Indio, named Holland RV. They are a Top Ten Newmar dealer, but I'm not personally a fan of them. Our friends called us later and said they looked a 37' Ventana there that they really liked. I checked their inventory, it looks like they have about five 37' models and five 40' models in their two California stores.
My dealer, Tom Lindstrom, doesn't show any in stock, (has three 34' models), but that doesn't mean he isn't getting one this month. I think he orders coaches, so that about 8-9 arrive each month. Give him a call.
