Independence RV - David Scott or Justin Mishler?

Who would you choose to work with for a new Newmar purchase? What are their strengths and weaknesses? I have heard great things about both of them.

We just worked with David Scott. Very happy throughout process. Knowledgeable and low key which we liked. No pushy sale tactics & kept us informed throughout the build. Always there for you even on days off!

I worked with David on the purchase of 3 coaches over the last 13 years. I found him to be great to work with - he is honest and will work to get you exactly what you want - within reason. He is not afraid to ask for things from Newmar. Sometimes we get them - and sometimes we didn't - but it wasn't because he didn't try. David has been at Independence for 22 years. I can highly recommend him. I'm sure Justin is great too - I have never worked with him - so I can only speak about David. I can also speak about Ray Douglas - Ray is the general manager and is a great guy who loves the business and his clients. They were named a top 10 dealer again last year as well. They sell a lot of coaches from the Mountain Aire line down.

Good luck with whomever you pick - I think you will be very pleased with Independence.

Never purchased from Independence but I was shown a couple of used coaches by David Scott and I came away feeling very good about him. He gives off very good vibes, a pleasure to work with, and I am convinced that he is knowledgable and trustworthy.

We are in the process of ordering our Dsdp4369 and sent bids out to 6 dealers. My contact at independence was David. Very professional and very helpful.

Just stopped by there last week and we were helped by Scott Hamilton. Very knowledgeable, helpful, not high pressure and all around nice guy. I am pretty sure they are going to be our dealer of choice, now we need to decide on the coach.

I worked with David Scott off and on for over a year, calling - emails etc and he was nothing but efficient, honest, and if he didn't have the answers he would get back to you in a timely manner. I'm sure Justin is excellent as well, but didn't work with him, so David would get my nod. Good luck you wont go wrong
