Induction burners

Cannot operate both induction burners on high at the same time on my 2030 ventana. Anyone else have this issue?

What happens when you try to run both burners? Are you running on shore power, generator power, or battery power?

Don’t know what Newmar uses but induction works that way on 120v units one circuit can only supply full power to one burner. 2 at 50% or 20/80 30/70 etc

Cooktop has a power of 10 total. One burner can be at 10 and the other one off. 1/10,2/8,3/7,4/6,5/5

That is the way our induction cooktop worked - a 120v unit. It could be unplugged and moved outside, a big plus, but we had to remember the total combined setting could be no more than 100%.

Your unit only has a 120v induction cook top so limited power. Many complained when Newmar first changed the induction cook top on the King Aire so it no longer could be unplugged and used outside but they did that because they went to a 220/240v cook top. The reason Newmar gave for this decision was because of the complaint you're talking about, not being able to use both burners on high. I am not sure if they offer the more powerful cook top on any other models or not.

On a side note, here's something I use to protect the glass top.

Even at 10 on one side, the performance of the True Induction cooktop really isn't very good. Mine did me the favor of dying on the 3rd use and I replaced it with this:

Vastly superior cooktop and all around works better with two pots on the stove. Does a great job of handling two high temperature settings and maintaining them.

True Induction peak output: 1800w or 450F (realistically closer to 1200w and 420F)
Nuwave peak output: 1800w or 575F (pretty much on the money)

Is this a drop in replacement? Any chance of a photo showing it installed? Thx!

Sadly, I found, like the others said, you can only run a total power of 10 on the two combined burners. I was disappointed. I have the breaker turned off on my induction stove top and it is covered by a cutting board. Oh, I use it occasionally, but for the most part I use the attached butane/propane cook top. Boy does it get hot quick. Sometimes I put it on a table outside the main door to keep the heat outside. I have choices with this portable unit. I can use it - or not. I can use it indoors - or not. I can use steel or aluminum bottom pans. Oh, and I can use my induction cook top AND this butane/propane cook stove at the same time. I love choices.

I fine our True Induction cooktop works fine. It's just like any 120-volt heater, it's limited to so many amps and that's it. The #10 setting on the True Induction cooktop gets pretty hot. We heat most things like eggs, beans, soup etc, on setting #6 or #7.

We have natural gas at home and I'm fine working with either heat source. It's just like confection ovens, they're relatively new and people aren't accustomed to how they work. Once you use them, they work great.

I can run both burners at the same time. Had the look burners replaced with induction— they had to run new wiring and new circuit. I can use induction with microwave.

Straight up drop in. Depending on the backplate Newmar used, you may need to make some shims to keep it stable.

I will also note that the TI cooktop uses 6 inch burners and this uses 8 inch burners. Makes for a much bigger hot spot in a pot/pan- I cook steaks on a grill pan.
