Induction Cooktop in Newmar Coaches
We had Newmar install a True Induction cooktop in our KGDB in Sept, along with a new countertop.
From looking at the pics on NorthTrails website I now see the same cooktop in their Essex and King Aires models. Does anyone know if Newmar has switched over to installing an induction cooktop in all their Essex and King Aires or is NorthTrail special ordering the induction cooktop for their coaches?

They must be special ordering them, ours does not look like that cooktop, there was not a induction cooktop on the" standards" option sheet when we ordered our coach. But as usual, Newmar will do just about anything they can to build the coach the way the customer wants it.

I was told a couple months ago that induction cooktops are not yet an option for Newmar coaches but could be added as a custom item...

May be part of all electric package; my 2014 Essex has the induction cooktop, I did not specifically select it.

I'm curious...what's the difference between a true induction, and assuming their is such a thing, an "untrue" induction cooktop? Not trying to be funny...are there wannabes? It would seems EM cooking would be EM cooking. When I see the words "true induction", it implies that some of the infomercial cooktops (and perhaps built in types) are not the real thing.

Just curious if you ordered from North Trail?
Also saw your other post.
Welcome to the Newmar family and I take my virtual hat off to you for deciding to get out there as a solo and buying a 2014 Essex as your first RV!
