Welcome!

Do you have a satellit or cable jack in the elecric bay? Plug in the cable from the Tailgater there - place it where is has a view to the south - install the compatible reciever (Dish 211k, and I think maybe a couple others) - follow the on screen instructions.

Got iPhone? www.dishpointer.com A great app to show that you have a clear line of sight.

Did a LOT of research and ordered one yesterday... Suppose to be here first of the week. They say it is just plug it in and it sets itself up in 5 minutes... Am looking forward to trying it our... just upgraded to a Flat screen in the front today...

If you ordered the 211k receiver and the Tailgater as a bundle, the reciever will have the proper firmeare already. If bought separetly the receiver may need a firmware update before it will work with the Tailgater.

My 211k/Tailgater works great - super easy setip, works as it should.

If you need to call Dish for anything, don't use the regular Dish support as they don't nessisarily know about the Tailgater and pay-as-u-go service. This number gets you to Dish for my RV folks - 888.309.0370.
