We're about to take off for Florida to
pick up our 98 Mountain Aire gasser.
The previous owners have purchased two new
batteries for coach, etc. We have ordered
two 85W solar panels, HPV-22 controller, a 2000W inverter/charger and intend
to install two identical batteries, wherever
they'll fit. I know there's a 5W solar charger
and a small inverter in there now. Are
there any unforeseeable obstacles to implementing
this plan? Provided I have skilled help?

thanks

Art I have only installed small panel on my coach ran wires thru roof down thru bedroom closet to battery compartment. YOU will have a little more to do your control panel can be placed on refer wall which is open, tuff to get in Newmar walls, and wires can be fished thru same refer space area. I know of some on irv2 that have put in the bigger solar sys just be patient someone will have more info for you. "007"

Enjoyed your pictures.

Thanks double o. In the end, I'll probably
have a pro do the installation. It's just
too big and important for me to attempt,
without any experience, knowledge or support.
I would add grey hairs to my lady's head.

Glad you enjoyed the photos. That's my lifeline
and burgeoning profession, especially in
the teaching department. I'm hoping I can
parlay those skills and astronomy shows
into some workamping income.
