Insulation and wall structure CS vs Star

Curious, how much less framing in sidewalls and roof between Canyon Star and Dutch Star?

Also, how much insulation difference?

The construction of the two are essentially the same. Only the roof and the floor coverings are different. Because the gas chassis weight capacity is lower the Canyon Star uses Britek roof covering vs the fiberglass on the DS. The Britek, is lighter weight and carries a longer warranty and till 2013 was the standard roof on the DS also. The DS has ceramic flooring which adds s lot of weight.
The framing, studding and insulation are the same.

Can the passenger seat leg lift be used while in the travel position? My wife needs her leg elevated while we travel.

We have a Zephyr now, but thinking of downsizing to the Canyon Star.

It's certainly usable in our Ventana. DW loves it while traveling.

I'm sure there are things in the Dutch Star that our superior than the Canyon Start, but just to set the record set, our 2015 CS has a fiberglass roof, not Britek.

The fiberglass roof is an option. BriteTek is the standard roof.
