Insurance Help

Just received my insurance statement for next year from Progressive. For my 2019 Dutch Star 4018 they want to increase my annual by over $200 to $2289.00. This would be nearly a 10% increase. Hardly seems worth it based on the very limited amount of miles I have driven it.

ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Try National Insurance- they have treated me right.

Obviously, where you live and personal history make a difference, but welcome to the rates in California. I have excellent credit and haven't made a claim in 20+ years, but my DS runs right about $2200.00 a year, with Auto Club.

With that said, I had Progressive back in 2005 on my new Diplomat. They were good for about three years and then started raising the rate by 30%. I went shopping and found a much better deal. Ultimately, I've been with the Automobile Club for about 15 years and have never found anyone cheaper. They're a non-profit organization, so I get a rebate each year.

We have friends that said something to us one time that stuck. They said the insurance companies will never show an allegiance to you, so why show any to them. When the prices go up, go shopping.

My insurance also took a leap and what I have found is that nearly all quotes show a substantial increase, Not sure if it an Okla thing or not.
