Interior redo question

I know this is a 100% personal opinion issue ... but ... I want to hear your experiences, please.

We are the new owners of a 2001 Newmar MountainAire ... We have owned it about 8 weeks and have 1,500 miles of travels over 4 different short trips. We will be removing the interior furniture, flooring this winter and will update it all.

Has anyone not replaced a dinette and instead gone with two couches?

We don't use it that much as it is, and with two almost grown children 17 and 20, we hope to entice onto our adventures we are thinking a couch for each may be helpful.

If anyone has done this and regretted it, or loved it, please chime in. We are starting our shopping now and I would like some more info.

Just a personal opinion!

We use or table and chairs more as a desk, and for breakfasts. We find TV tables in front of our couches useful for other meals where we want to watch TV.

I think pulling the table or booth would make your coach difficult to resell.

Make it like you want. Since it's an 18 year old coach, I don't think I would worry too much about resale. If you do, wrap up the dinette and store it in the rafters.
