Interior Step LED Lights Not Working

My LED lights around the interior steps, lighted interior step handle and ceiling light above steps are not working. Does anybody have any idea what to check?

Try turning off the Battery Disconnect for 30 seconds. This turns off all the 12V electricity. This would “reset” things. Otherwise I would look in the 12 v fuse panel that’s outside and below the drivers seat.

Thanks. I did find a 20amp fuse in the bathroom cabinet that was blown - it is labeled for the security lights (and sure enough, they don’t work either). Unfortunately, when I replace the fuse, it immediately blows. Might have a short circuit somewhere. Maybe all are on the same fuse.

Very interesting. I just had that exact issue and it was one of the KIB modules in the overhead panel above the drives seat was burnt out. I also lost all of the ceiling lights. You might consider removing this panel and looking for something that looks heat damaged....just guessing.

That is a great thought. I don’t think I have kib modules above the drivers seat in my 4018 - looks to just be a/v equipment. Mine may be in the cabinet in the half bath. I’ll do some searching.

Im not talking about the AV equipment area but rather the area behind all the electronic displays. On mine it’s a Black Plastic Panel with about 6-8 screw holding it in place. Removing the screws and gently pulling this panel out reveals a mass of wiring, etc. My KIB Module was a small Black Plastic Box with about 6 wires going into it. It was seriously fried... Now if you disconnect the “Communication Wire” which looks like an old style Phone Cord, things may start working.

Hope this helps.
