Batteries on our 2006 DS wont charge above SG 1.205 @65 degrees. The inverter goes through all three stages.
We have 4 Interstate 6V deep cycle Workaholic U2200 batteries. In some of the posts under "replacement batteries" I saw a reference to a U2500 battery. Does it provide more amp hours than the stated 232 amp hours per battery on the interstate website?
What I would really like to know is the preference most Newmar owners have for brand (Interstate OK ?) of house batteries, and is there more than one Interstate 6V deepcycle battery.

I have 6v Interstate just two,not sure what I will do when I change them out. If you go to "Find" and type in 'batteries' you will have 365 answers to confuse you more.
I will probally stay with the Interstates they are still serving me well just have to check fluid levels all the time.

Remember with 6 volt batteries in series you do not add both amp ratings (because it is in series). For example if you have 2 batteries of 12 volts @ 180 amp hours and you wire them parallel you have 360 amps at 12 volts. If you have two 6 volt batteries @ 180 amps wired in series to make 12 volts you have 180 amps. While you double the voltage you do not double the amperage.
