Introduction and thanks from new Newmar owner

Hi everyone -

Although I joined last November, I've been lurking until recently. But I've found the Newmar forum to be invaluable as we researched, purchased, and equipped our new motorhome. Thank you!

My wife and I started looking at motorhomes last summer, decided on Newmar after attending the Pomona RV show, and placed an order for a Canyon Star 3424 in December. We took delivery from the dealer in March, added some solar panels and an inverter, and started full-timing this May.

I'm a software engineer and am working on the road. My wife has a botany background and hopes to find some volunteer work in that area. We have always enjoyed exploring the national parks and monuments, state parks, BLM, and other public lands. We'll be camping in these areas as much as we can.

We'll be in Nappanee in mid-August to get some warranty items fixed, as well as repair of some unfortunate storm damage (sigh...).

Anyway, we're delighted with the coach, and having a blast! Thanks again for the great forum.

Welcome to the Newmar family DavidP!! I hope you have many safe and happy miles in your new MH. If you're going to be in Nappanee in August you should check out the Hoots post in this forum, we're always looking to add to the "roost".

Welcome to the Newmar family!

The color combinations looks great!

When in Nappanee, stay away from the Amish Furniture shops. It could get expensive.
