Inverter and coach electrical outlets

Does the coach inverter give power any of the wall electrical receptacles in the coach without having to use shore power or the generator? I like to use small amp electrical devices.

There should be a separate breaker box for the circuits that the inverter supplies power to. Look for that separate breaker box and see which outlets and appliances are labeled on the breakers. That will give you your answer.

I have a 2011 Canyon Star 3642 the inverter only powers the 3 TVs but you can run a drop cord from one of the outlets the front tv will not have power if the engine is running

Looking at the specs for the 2012 Canyon Star at the Newmar website, it appears that the base model has no inverters. There's an inverter option for the TVs as an upgrade, and another for an all-electric model that has extra batteries and a 2000 watt inverter that might be whole-house.

It's possible that newmar10 has the whole-house option and Rodney has the TV only option.

If you have an outlet on the wall behind the drivers seat, it might be powered by the inverter.

In addition to the TV outlets, an outlet in front of the passengers seat, down low, is also on the invertor.

The only AC not powered by the inverter in my coach is the air conditioners.

Shut off the generator, unplug from shorepower, & turn on the inverter --- then plug something in each outlet and see if it works.

Thanks to all of you! I didn't think to ask specifics about the inverter during our walk-thru.

I especially like Dougburi's answer. I got the 'green' light on the house control panel and tried two outlets a few weeks ago and nothing. I've since learned with the user manual there is a switch on the actual inverter in the storage bay. Maybe it's not turned on???

Never-the-less, you all have been a real help and I'll put these ideas to the test.
