Inverter or battery issue, 2015 CanyonStar

My newly bought, (leftover new) '15 canyonstar has an issue with either the batteries or inverter. I'm not sure which, so I thought I would ask you folks. The MW and refrigerator should come on when the engine is running or when I hook up to 110v, but it doesn't. Also, neither run while I am driving. The breakers are on, and I can't find and other switches or breakers in the battery compartment. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance

My fridge does not come on without shore power or generator. Does not work when driving unless I use propane but I do not for safety.

I thought that was what an inverter was for?

Your reefer likely has a dedicated inverter, check for remote switch to turn it on. It will power your reefer only when not plugged in to shore power or running the genny.

Your microwave will only have power when plugged in or running the genny.

My guess is you do not have the Inverter turned, there is a fuse or breaker blown or the inverter is not programmed to run either the fridge or MW. Although, if you have a residential fridge, it should be on the inverter when your not plugged into shore power.
Check to see if you have 12V input to the inverter.

According to the brochure an inverter is an option and would operate the front and rear TV. If you have a home type refrigerator (electric only) it has its own inverter which must be turned on to work. Probably in one of the bays near your rear wheels. The should be an inverter control in the coach. MW would only work on shore power of generator. If you have a Norcold electric/propane, you would have to be on propane for it to work, or generator. Most drive with the fridge on propane.

Shouldn't the refrigerator be running while it's hooked up to 110v from my house?

Yes it should. If of course, you have sufficient power supply.

On mine, above door I have cabinet with all my controls for big slide, steps, tanks, awning etc. that is where my inverter switches are (I have two inverters, one for TVs).

I have two door 10 ft3 Frigidaire.

When plugged in at home, is your microwave clock on? If not, you have a power issue, inside or out. My microwave clock is my tell for do I have AC power.

Try running your generator and see if your reefer and microwave work.

Wes

It's a dedicated 20amp circuit. That should be plenty.

The MW clock and fridge were on initially when I plugged it in, but now they're off.. Both run while the gen is on.
