Inverter Sub-panel

Does anyone know where the Inverter sub-panel is located on a 2005 Kountry Star Model 3908. That is the one with the Washer/dryer located behind the shower instead of at the rear wall. I know where the Main Power panel is but can't find the Inverter sub-panel where the Inverter is tied into the Intertainment system wireing. Thanks for any help

Check this URL. There is a 2005 Dutch Star Plumbing and Electrical diagram file. They are probably pretty close to the same. In the mean time I will see if I can upload the KSDP file.

Inverter Sub-panel

Thanks Mike. But there are no schematics for the 120v output from the inverter to the coach at that url. The inverter output has to go somewhere to tie into the coach entertainment wireing. The question is, where?

Don't know if this helps at all but my 3910 both panels were together in the bathroom above toilet.

The sub panel should be very near the main panel, for obvious reasons. Mine is immediately beside it.

Not all inverter systems have a sub-panel. Some inverters have two or three breakers built in, and feed the branch circuits directly.

I can't think of any obvious reason the inverter panel needs to be located near the main panel, other than that's where people would look for it. There's no direct connection from the main panel to the inverter sub-panel.

Your right. The power goes from the breaker in the main panel through the inverter's ATS and then to the sub panel. It could virtually be anywhere. Hopefully it would be somewhere accessible, like right next to the main panel. I know that when people add a sub panel, they usually install it adjacent to the main panel, since all the wiring for the circuits it will serve are right there.

In my 05 3910 the inverter circuits do not have a sub panel. The breaker protecting the circuits is in the inverter. Wires coming out of the inverter go directly to the circuit outlets. My inverter is the 600 WATT pure sine wave.

My 2004 KSDP is just as Gary's post said ....400 watt inverter has a breaker built in and that's all the protection provided.... I spent some time doing the same search since we are new to our KSDP as well....I ended up using a wire tracing tool... All it did was take me to outlets ..

Here is a picture of small inverter that we are talking about for the front TV and a couple of 110 outlets, there is a GFI outlet that needs to be reset on inverter, if no power to outlets.
Mine was in lower compartment below passenger seat.

On our 2015 Ventana, the inverter sub panel is right next to the main panel (actually in the same box). Both are in the cabinet above the toilet in the half bath.
