Is replaced furniture covering lasting better than original

Newmar replaced the furniture in my 2015 DS in 2016 due to break-thru areas (sofa twice) in the material. So far no bad places showing up but the wife and I don't use the coach very heavily.
Just wondering how others with replaced furniture covering are doing? Did Newmar use any better quality material for the replaced coverings, or just put back the same low quality material hoping everything would be out of warranty by the time problems surfaced again?

Well if your original needed replacing within a year and the replacement has been in service without problems for 4 years Id have to figure the new material is better

You know the old saying, "Look before you leap". Well I should have looked before I posted.

Even tho we haven't used the coach in over 11 months I've been in it several times a week since it's parked in the back yard and I try to watch things. Well, today since there was another thread talking about the sorry material Newmar used on furniture I gave ours a very good looking over. And the piping around the passenger's seat is starting to crack and peal. Guess Newmar did use the same ole sorry cheap material the 2nd time around, and Villa did a very poor job on the sofa. Even the tech at Newmar who switched the furniture for us said he didn't think we really gained anything over the previous defecteive sofa.
