Is there really a "red button" to change access codes?
Spent the last couple of hours trying to change the authority and access codes on the TriMark door lock of the new MADP we took delivery on today. The TriMark instruction sheet refers to shorting a yellow wire and several IRV2 posts refer to a red button on the side of the steering column. I can find neither.
Help!!!! Where am I going wrong? Is there really a red button, or a wire bundle with a yellow wire? Either one seems like a lousy way to change a code.
The new coach is nice, but some of the "features" leave me scratching my head.

Congratulations Jim on finally taking delivery of your new baby!
There is a small button on the steering column of our NADP to change the access code of the TriMark door lock. It’s on the left side near the floor board.

I believe mine is on the left side about 15” above the floor and it’s black. I’ve not changed mine yet

Here’s how it looks on my DS. Left side, down low. Red button.

Found it!
Thanks, guys...I finally found it. On mine, it is a tiny black button with a silver body showing at the edges. Looks just like a screw head. I had seen it before, but was sure it WAS a screw head. Careful examination with a flashlight proved otherwise.
So, I guess pressing the button does the same thing as shorting the yellow wire per the TriMark instruction sheet. I'll get to the reprogramming part this evening. Currently, I'm transferring stuff from the old coach to the new ones.
Thanks for the help. This forum is fantastic...and, the folks who inhabit it what make it so. Much appreciated. I'll get some photos of the new coach posted as soon as we're done shuttling stuff between coaches.
Break is over; back to work before the boss shows up.

Congrats on getting the new coach. The long wait is over. I have been trying to change my authority code for 3 days with no luck. The access code was easy. I'm going back to NT tomorrow with a few questions and a few things to fix and will have them change the code. Enjoy the new coach and safe travels.
