Is there storage under the power incline/sleep number bed?

I've searched high and low for this and can't find any answer.

On the 4369 (Ventana), if you go with the power incline/retracting base sleep number bed option, is there still storage under it for putting the folding chairs?

Also, how much does the bed actually retract?

not sure about storage, but you lose the windows on each side of the slide out for the bed...in case you didn't know that....

I know about losing the side windows, and we are OK with that, but what I want to make sure is that we don't lose the flip up base and storage for the folding chairs.

It was my understanding that you do lose storage under the bed but I have never seen one so can't say for sure.

I don't know what you guys are driving but my coach came with a Sleep Number mattress and it has both storage under the bed and a window next to the bed.

Marc does yours have the power lift at the head of the bed, like a hospital bed?

After the surprising "stump the IRV2'rs" to no answers I reached out to Michelle at Newmar. The under bed storage does go away with the power incline bed. While I think we can live without it, that was a deal breaker for the wife.

On my 2017 DSDP 4369 we have the power incline with sleep number bed. We do not have the side windows and there is NOT any storage under the bed. Our chairs are stored in the closet.

We just store our folding chairs in the wardrobe with the sweeper hose, swifter, ironing board and misc DW odds and ends...

The windows are normally deleted BUT you can easily keep them if you want as a special for very little cost. We have windows with modified window valances. There is under bed storage but not enough for chairs.

We love the power incline because it makes the room much bigger with the slides in. I can easily get in the back bathroom with the slides in. We didn’t get the incline for that reason but it’s a nice benefit.

We saw one when we were shopping a few years ago. It reminded me of the old Ford Skyliners. There was still a storage area, but extremely small, maybe 20% of what you'd have otherwise.
